About The Write Edit

I spent many years in New York, the heart of the publishing world, before moving to Philadelphia, and ultimately to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where a thriving literary community exists. After working as a literary assistant at the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia, I landed a job evaluating manuscripts for a literary agent. My passion and talent for the written word led me to pursue my master’s degree in publishing. I had been widely published as a writer and spent years developing my talent as an editor. I thought I had landed my dream job when I became a book reviewer for Kirkus. But then I created The Write Edit, and that’s when I knew I had fulfilled my ultimate goal: helping writers and authors achieve their dream of publication.

I run The Write Edit full time and continuously further my education as an editor by taking classes, reading industry publications, and attending conferences. I have had the pleasure of making a difference in the lives of many writers. You can read some testimonials here: Testimonials.
